Everyone Knows That... Or Do They?
"If it were true, it would be common knowledge"
Unfortunately, no, it is quite the opposite...
As that which is true, is almost certainly unpopular...
And as people want to be popular, they deny truth and sign the deal of a life filled with lies...
Because they would rather hear sweet lies than sobering truths...
Those who are doing the best they can to be truthful in every endeavour, know how difficult this is...
To live in alignment with integrity, truth and universal laws in a world built to make you a slave to the flesh...
That is because society at large is designed to reward lies for temporary material world "gains" whereas the most important element is always hidden ~ the spirit...
Confronting truths, whether it be with yourself in the mirror or with another, means to come face to face with it head on…
It does not mean one is seeking conflict...
Many want to avoid the possibility of conflict at all costs, including the cost of the Truth...
You don't have to look far for examples of this in what people are willing to support in return for a bit of comfort...
As the truth is often, not intentionally but subsequently, difficult and painful to hear, people attack and ridicule the bearer of Truth, when it cracks their self image built on comforting lies...
It isn't fun nor easy to choose Truth over comfort, day in and day out, because you will inevitably be further and further pushed out of society, ridiculed by others, for inconveniencing their soothing lies they tell themselves...
It is however, the right thing to do, for the soul is the ultimate prize...
Simply do the best you can each day to be a moral, integral human being, that has not forgotten the importance of spirit, meaning and purpose of life...
People may not understand, they will surely ridicule, however God knows, and will light the way for you.
